Resources Available on the Web
There are a lot of resources available to new webmasters creating their first website.  Google has a set of free webmaster tools but there are other free and purchasable ones as well.  There exist a lot of tools and services to help you optimize your website to get more traffic.  Google's free Adwords tool provides suggested keyword phrases and tells you the frequency of use and competition for each phrase.  Google Sitemap Generator facilitates creating and submitting a sitemap which speeds up the process of getting your website indexed.  Google Analytics allows you to track the amount and source of traffic to your website.  There are tools for determining the page rank given to your website pages by Google and the position of keyword phrases in Google searches.  You can even check to see who is linking to your website and what are the most frequent search words used to find your site.  Some of these resources are listed below for your convenience.
